Synopsis
Mathew leaves a heavily pregnant wife behind. Chioma leaves a concerned fiancÃĐ and family members behind too. And in the company of other Help International (NGO) aid workers, set out on a journey to bring succour to internally displaced people in a war torn country.
Faced with the danger of uncertain death in the hands of fighters, Mathew leads his team of humanitarians through thick and thin to find those trapped behind battlefields and war zones and to offer assistance to those in need.

The daunting task of finding their way around without communication equipment which they had lost in an ambush is paled in the face of the horrible experience of watching helplessly as the internally displaced people they came to help starve to death because they could hardly provide for them. They are faced with the fear of imminent revolt by the refugees who are growing desperate as the days go by. Kitridge, dedicated international humanitarian aid workers plays major role in the lives of refugees against violence and ensure calmness in the camps.
And when they think it cannot get any worse, they are marked for extermination by a group of child soldiers led by a ferocious soldier who thinks nothing of taking innocent lives, due to the prevailed circumstances and the fact that they were brain washed.

And with the option of either saving their own lives or risking everything in the discharge of their duties as humanitarians with a view to successfully taking the refugees to a safe refugee camp, the ethics of their profession as humanitarians are called to task.
But against all odds, Mathew and his team, believing that being charitable is a call that requires extra dose of determination decides to be heroes dead or alive; for the sake and welfare of vulnerable refugees.
The movie is based on a true story; it was filmed in Nigeria, featuring international actors and actress, produced by Nkechi Destiny O and directed by a multi award winning film director Paschal Amanfo.
